Team Leaders are responsible for leading and overseeing teams who are either collecting seed off-site, processing seed on-site or maintaining our seed orchards. They must ensure that all seed collections, processing and orchard work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The role requires strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills to manage people, resources and site operations while maintaining high standards of health and safety, productivity, and compliance. The Team Leader acts as the primary point of contact when working away from the main unit and reports directly to the Line Manager.
The Arboriculturist supports and oversees tree work operations, seed harvesting, processing, propagation, and tree establishment activities while ensuring full compliance with industry standards, legislation, and company procedures.
The role combines operational arboriculture duties with on-site supervision responsibilities, ensuring that teams work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies, environmental responsibilities, and legal requirements.
Recruitment is currently paused for this role, however seasonal opportunities are available annually as tree seed crops ripen.
