Th Japanese Walnut grows into an impressive medium sized tree with incredible leaves that may be up to 1m long. It fruits with long pendulous strings of nuts which are known as Heart Nuts, because of the shape. They are sweet and tasty. New growth may be tender to late frosts, so shelter is appreciated.
