Lychnis flos cuculi/ Silene flos cuculi
Pink and very rarely sometimes white flowers in late spring to early summer. Deeply divided petals give a ragged appearance. A perennial of damp meadows, woods, marshes and fens, standing 30-60cm tall. Food plant for, amongst others, Campion and Lychnis moths.
Sow anytime but will benefit from 6 weeks mixed with damp sand in the fridge before sowing.(pre chill)
