H.T.A Tree and Hedging Meeting

The HTA Meeting was hosted by Forestart this June with tours round the seed storage and treatment facilities followed by a walk through the orchards to look at Sitka breeding work, the birch plantation, blackthorn and hazel.  We were also taken on an informative tour round  Maelor Forest Nurseries. Their work with Sitka is wide-ranging. The picture is of extensive seedbeds broadcast with seed  6-7 weeks previously.
